Train harder. Strike smarter. Build unshakable confidence.
Kickboxing in Mississauga for Kids, Teens & Adults
Whether you’re brand-new or prepping for full-contact, our Kickboxing classes teach real striking that transfers: stance and footwork, pad and bag work, defensive layers, timing, and ring craft—alongside total-body conditioning and mindset. We group sessions for kids (5–11), teens (12–16), and adults, so every student progresses safely from beginner fundamentals to advanced competition prep at the right pace.
Led by experienced coaches in a respectful, safety-first culture, training here builds athleticism, discipline, and everyday confidence—with an optional pathway to WAKO-sanctioned events for motivated athletes.
Program offered at both Mississauga locations: Mavis & Burnhamthorpe and Erin Mills & Dundas.
What you will learn here
In every class you will build real striking skills step by step. We start with clear foundations and add pad work, partner drills, and smart conditioning, then offer advanced options such as controlled sparring and competition preparation.
Striking fundamentals
Stance, guard, footwork, distance, and angles, plus jab, cross, hook, and kick mechanics including teeps, low kicks, checks, knees, and basic clinch entries. Everything is taught with safe technique and strong balance.
Pad work & drills
Thai pad and mitt rounds, partner drills, bag work, and shadowboxing to build timing, rhythm, combinations, defensive counters, and smart ring movement. Every round includes clear coaching cues and measurable goals.
Conditioning
Fight specific strength, core and hip stability, mobility and flexibility, and interval cardio that supports skill development. We add injury prevention habits and breath control for better recovery and performance.
Advanced
Technical and controlled sparring with defined contact levels, game planning and film study, and competition preparation under WAKO rulesets. We cover gear, scoring, weigh ins, and cornering with close supervision for safety.
Competition pathway
For teens and adults who want to test themselves, we offer full-contact competitive training to enter WAKO-sanctioned kickboxing events. This provides a credible pathway toward provincial/national teams and, for dedicated athletes, a future pro career.
Note: WAKO is internationally recognized in Olympic sport governance; while kickboxing isn’t currently on the Olympic program, WAKO pathways align with that standard.
Try a class, meet the coaches, and choose a path—fitness, fundamentals, or competition.
