Taekwondo

Train harder. Strike smarter. Build unshakable confidence.
Taekwondo classes in Mississauga for Kids, Teens & Adults.

Build lifelong discipline, confidence, and technical striking skills in a supportive, safety-first environment. In our International Chang Hon Taekwon-do Federation curriculum, students learn solid foundations—stances, blocks, hand techniques, and dynamic kicks—then progress into Chang Hon patterns (tuls), step and free sparring, self-defence applications, and power and precision work on pads and shields.

Classes are grouped by age and experience so kids 5–11, teens 12–16, and adults 17+ move forward at the right pace with clear belt milestones and the five tenets of Taekwon-do at the centre: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. Coaching focuses on correct mechanics, flexibility, and injury awareness, with optional grading, seminars, and ICTF-sanctioned tournaments for motivated students.

Whether your goal is fitness, focus, or the next belt, you will train in a calm, respectful culture where progress is measured and celebrated.

Program offered at both Mississauga locations: Mavis & Burnhamthorpe and Erin Mills & Dundas.

What you will learn here

In every class you will build real striking skills step by step. We start with clear foundations and add pad work, partner drills, and smart conditioning, then offer advanced options such as controlled sparring and competition preparation.

Sparring & self defence

Progressive drills build timing, ring craft, and combinations with defined contact levels and protective gear. Students practise awareness, releases and holds, and decision making before free sparring.

Conditioning and mobility

Structured flexibility, balance, and core strength that supports safe kicking and reduces injuries. Training follows progressions and helps students meet testing standards, competition needs, and habits outside class.
