About the founder
FREDIE BUEN, LMA FOUNDER
In the summer of 2008, Fredie got connected with a community that would forever change his life.
The Gateway Christian Life Centre had a unique establishment that used recreational services such as sports and performing arts as a means to build community and to reach young men like Fredie so that they would meet with them where they are, at whatever life stage, so that they can empower them with the life-giving message of the Gospel; and that’s exactly what Fredie found. It was through the Gateway Centre and the mentorship of key leaders such as Ron Orcajada, Maricar Tolentino, Ron Pagcaliwagan, and Julius & Bunny Tiangson.
Together they used the tools of Urban hip hop, martial arts, group counseling, and countless hours of praying and engagement to bring Fredie from a place of brokenness to success and even a lifestyle of community service.
“It was through these people I understood the value of community and compassion which is the landmark of Limitless… through them, I learned more than entrepreneurship, which helped me build Limitless, I learned that our gifts can be used as a vehicle for positive change”.
precisely what Limitless Martial Arts aspires to be!
Since this season Fredie has trained hundreds of students in taekwondo and kickboxing, raised dozens of young leaders, personally competed and ranked in three World Championships, and has built a tremendous reputation in the Mississauga Centre area for running a martial arts gym that “strives to build character along with muscles”!
